Washington politicians want to spend more of your tax dollars on a broken health care system. Complete the email below to tell Senators Baucus and Tester and Representative Rehberg that you want government waste, fraud, and abuse fixed before spending more of your hard-earned money on a broken system.
Sen. Max Baucus
Sen. Jon Tester
Rep. Denny Rehberg
Subject:
The Congressional Budget Office estimates that Americans spend over $700 billion on care that does not improve health outcomes. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimated that Americans spent $76 billion on avoidable medical conditions in 2000. According to the Milken Institute, preventive care of chronic disease could save the Americans $110 billion annually. With health care reform efforts to cost anywhere from $65 to $250 billion annually genuine reform should pay for itself. New taxes, reduced payments to physicians that could jeopardize my health care, and increased budget deficits are simply not acceptable alternatives to curbing waste, fraud, and abuse.

I urge you to vote "NO" on any health care "reform" legislation that increases costs, deficits, or taxes before reducing waste, fraud, and abuse.
